Rambling Roots Hostel is built around community, knowledge, and individuality. We provide outdoor enthusiasts, Thru-Hikers, and travelers a dash of home away from home.

For outdoor enthusiasts the Nantahala Gorge is the perfect place with both the Appalachian Trail and the Nantahala River located within it.  To the east of us you have Bryson City, a small town full of charm as well as Cherokee. Cherokee is home of the Eastern band of Cherokee Nation, it is based in the culture of the Cherokee Nation, has adventure activities, and you can access the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, as you pass by the Oconaluftee visitor center and village.
