The Appalachian Trail is located just 2 miles to the west of the hostel, along Hwy 19 W, at the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC). Tellico Gap (south) and Stecoah Gap (north) are easily accessible and are both within a half hour from us.
The Appalachian Trail holds a special place in Bookie’s heart. Having completed the Trail in 2015. She is excited to bring her own experiences from the trail to those who are spending time walking the longest continuous foot path in the world.
